Idle Hands
Eric Lee is an independent inventor.
At the early age of 25 he developed chronic Prostatitis which is a recurring infection of the prostate gland. It can take months of antibiotic treatment to cure infection and sometimes several rounds are required to eradicate the infection.
The symptoms were very much like what men experience who have PVD or what’s called “Post Void Dribble” (Dribbling after urination) or with overall long-term prostate issues such as an enlarged prostate.
There are also other symptoms men experience post urological procedures, such as prostate biopsy or dribbling after having what’s called a cystoscopy, (A procedure to look at the
prostate & bladder walls via scope with camera introduced into penis. Sometimes a urologist may prescribe a couple different medications to soothe urethra post procedure which may be irritated from scope. These medications can cause the urine to temporarily turn blue or orange in color. While these medications are very helpful, post dribbling can be quite messy.
As a result of his personal experiences and knowledge of urologic procedures, Eric began working on devising a product that would help men manage these nagging symptoms for a better quality of life. Thus “The LP Shield” was born. (LP stands for Leak Protection) He hopes to help millions of men reclaim their dignity & quality of life.
